The difference between broccoli and snot is that you just can’t seem to get the kids to eat broccoli!
Broccoli is a “super-food” that has phyto-chemicals that fight cancer, fiber, vitamins and minerals and the best way to prepare it is a quick steaming or microwaving.
Incorporate foods high in nutritional value into your regular meal plan by sneaking it in there! This works just as well with kids as it does with grown up kids (adults).
Examples of sneaking nutrition into every day foods include adding protein powder to milk, mixing cauliflower into mac and cheese, or using apple sauce in place of oil in a favorite baking recipe. That way picky eaters will eat healthier food while noticing little or no change.
